We were asked to arrange a team building cookery day for this group of regional managers, together with an overnight hotel stay and meeting room.
Our initial research identified two available cookery school options in the Manchester area – we presented both options to the client in a detailed proposal document which included location details, possible menus, and package pricing we’d negotiated on their behalf, together with details of 4-star hotels within easy travelling distance which could accommodate their overnight stay and meeting on the following day.
The client selected a cookery school offering a 3-hour Italian ‘hands on’ team cookery event, which was just a short drive from a recommended 4-star hotel where we had negotiated greatly reduced rates for B&B and DDR.
We reviewed both cookery school and hotel contracts before sending them on to the client for signing, then once venues were confirmed we continued to liaise with both on behalf of the client to pull the whole event together.
For the cookery school we confirmed timings and catering for the morning meeting, added a lunch menu, and advised team selections and dishes to be made by each team. Gift items for guests were also arranged including souvenir aprons, boxes of chocolates and the obligatory wooden spoon!
Our team also liaised with the hotel to confirm the rooming list, negotiating complimentary room upgrades for senior execs, meeting timings, catering and payment instructions.
An entertaining team building event, with activity and hotel arrangements brought together seamlessly by our team.
