We were asked to source a short team energiser activity for the end of a conference, with the aim that delegates leave the event unified and with a shared experience.
Having worked many times on events in Dublin we were able to approach our trusted event suppliers for quotations for this event and negotiate great package prices. Suggestions included an Irish instrument workshop, Tai-Chi lesson, and synchronised ‘swimming’, all of which could take place in the conference room and with very little equipment. The client eventually selected ‘Blow the Blues Away’; a harmonica masterclass by one of the world’s leading Blues musicians, with the whole group coming together in a final jam session!
Being already involved in the organisation of the client’s 2-day Dublin conference, we were able to liaise with our hotel contacts regarding extended use of the conference room and arranged for bar drinks to be available following the event.
In the run-up to the event we liaised with the event company to finalise numbers, timings, payment, to arrange for a photographer to capture the event, to source ‘Blue Brothers’ style sunglasses for delegates to wear during the activity, as well as branding of the harmonicas with the Client’s logo; making great keepsakes from the event.
Delegates enjoyed a great shared experience, with our team bringing together several aspects to produce a seamless event.
