Our initial venue finding provided several centrally-located informal venue options in Oxford in line with the client’s brief and budget, including bars with private function rooms and exclusive use venues.
The client identified one venue she was particularly interested in, which was located on the banks of the river and offered a large space for exclusive use, and we arranged for her to visit the venue to view the facilities.
Having viewed the venue, the client asked us to confirm on her behalf, whereby we liaised with the venue to agree booking and payment terms, including a minimum catering spend in line with the client’s budget. The venue’s booking contract was reviewed by us to ensure accuracy, before it was sent on to her for signing.
As the client’s single point of contact for the event, we continued to assist with event arrangements which included arranging for the venue to offer drinks vouchers for guests, a post-presentation BBQ and booking punting boats so guests could enjoy some time on the river!
A successful evening for the client, with the perfect venue for a summer’s evening. The sun even shone for the BBQ!
