This client asked us to find a venue for their company celebration and help organise the event. Being located in Portsmouth, they wanted a venue easy to travel to, and something with a wow factor!
Having previously arranged similar events in Portsmouth, our venue finders were able to recommend a range of unusual venues, including historic and modern venues; all centrally located and easy to travel to.
We presented the venue options to the client together with details and images of the dining spaces, negotiated hire prices, menu options and possible evening entertainment and enhancements. The client shortlisted two venues and we arranged for them to visit so they could see them first-hand.
Having weighed up the two options, the client decided on their venue and we arranged the venue hire contract on their behalf together with terms and pre- payment agreement.
Once the venue was secured we continued to liaise with the client to confirm menu and wine selections with caterers as well as advising on and arranging event timings, table linen, centrepieces and table plan with the venue.
The client wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere during the event, so our venue finders used their local event supplier contacts to source a ‘mix and mingle’ magician for the drinks reception, a DJ to play in the background during dinner (and party music afterwards) and a fun photobooth with props.
Being the client’s single point of contact we took care of the confirmation paperwork, billing arrangements and event supplier liaison; leaving them to concentrate on their guest list and the finer details of the event.
A successful and very memorable evening for the group, with our team bringing together numerous suppliers to produce a seamless event.
